Where is TJoritja?

TJoritja is located in the West MacDonnell National Park, approximately 280 kilometres northwest of Alice Springs. An alternative route starts at the Stuart Highway junction 11 kilometers east of Port Augusta and heads south-east towards Wallarena before turning towards Tjoritja. This route is more scenic but less travelled.

The park is open all year round, but access is limited during winter months due to snow conditions on roads into the park. Visitors should bring adequate supplies including drinking water as well as food for long stays as there are no facilities available within the park itself.
